WeAssist

Project Overview
For this project we were commissioned by WeTransfer to find out what the new possibility/tool for creatives is by means of a creative productivity product. The target group for this assignment are creatives who quickly suffer from burnout and who forget to take breaks during their work process.
WeTransfers design question
"What is the next opportunity for WeTransfer to support creatives in their work with customers through a creative productivity product?"
"How can I come up with a tool that gives me an overview and peace of mind in my design process?"
Our design question

My Contributions
During this project I operated as the creative concepter. This means that I was mainly concerned with using new methods to define the concept. I made sure that we stayed close to the target group and that we thought about their wants & needs every step of the way. I still kept in mind that this product had to be usefull for WeTransfer.
Some of the methods that I used: The Empathy map, Business Model Canvas, The Archetype and The Userstory Map.
During the design phase I was also able to use my creative side. First I had to constantly think strategically, then I was able to make the choices for A/B testing together with my teammates.
I also could be a part of the paper prototype we used for our prototye party. As you can see above, we deliverd a working paper prototype, in just a couple of hours, which i am still very proud of.
In the end, we created WeAssist.
WeAssist is a plug-in tool for creatives who want to get fast suffer from burnout and those reports steers if you need to rest while working. Weassist is relevant for the client because WeTransfer, want to support creatives during their process and this is what WeAssist helps with. Through WeAssist gives the creatives peace of mind which allows them to go through their process better.

What did I learn?
While being the creative concepter in this project I learned a lot. I have learned how to keep an overview of different aspects. Here I am talking about keeping the target group satisfied but also the client. Basically thinking about everyone and everything all the time.
I also found out that I really like to work as a creative concepter because I had this overview of the project. I was able to work as a UX'er but also as a strategist, I liked both parts really well.
